20 Meters Long Monster
← Ch.100 | Ch.102 → |
He could see above the electric eel that there was a monster with eight claws, a pair of pincers and a body filled with needle-like white hair. Its white pincers were like 20 meter long pliers when they were open. It was like absolutely nothing that Chen Fan had ever heard of, nor had he ever seen.
The creature, with its gray eyes the size of two tires, looked at the black electric eel without moving.
"What is it? It's neither a spider or a crab. Didn't scientists say the world's largest crustaceans were only four or five meters long?" This creature, however, had completely broken the biological science theory that Chen Fan had built over the years. While Chen Fan was stunned, the huge, white hairy monster may have felt this energy of paralyzed fear emanating from the eel and both of its pincers attacked the electric eel's head with lightning speed.
Boom...
The electric eel suddenly became a bright glowing object as it burst out thousands of volts of high voltage from its skin surface. In the deep dark sea, a dazzling, bluish white light swept through all the living things in a 200-meter range.
When the terrifying monster was hit by the bluish white light, its hair stood up like a kitten whose tail had been stepped on and its pincers froze in mid-air.
Pa!
Although the giant claw had no more strength left, the force from the initial acceleration let it move along through the inertia. The eel was unable to move because of the pressure exerted from the sea which allowed the monster to hit it on the head.
As if hit by a meteor hammer, Chen Fan only felt some dizziness from the electric eel's head. Even the release of the electric current had temporarily been disturbed. The trembling on the electric eel's head, made Chen Fan feel as though there was fire in his heart and it was burning vigorously. It was as though someone poured petrol on it. Yesterday was enough and now he was being bullied by the'white spider' in the sea!
Boom... Boom...
The electric eel woke up and released its voltage which looked like bluish white light that attacked the white spider like a tsunami. The electric eel could release a maximum frequency for about a minute. The'white hair spider' was not in good shape. It took not even thirty seconds for its shell to turn from white to red like being cooked in hot water.
Hu!
When the'white hair spider' become the'red hair spider'. The electric eel's mouth spat out a long series of bubbles and then quickly stopped the discharge of electricity. Severe discharge of electricity would cause the water in the electric eel to split into oxygen and hydrogen so it was best for it to store some electricity unless it met urgent situations, otherwise it would be weak if it lost too much moisture.
What made Chen Fan feel strange was that after it was dead, this'white hair spider' unexpectedly, slowly floated to the top of the water, unlike other sea crustaceans that sink to the bottom after death.
"Who cares?" The electric eel was nearly crushed by the water pressure. It was more important to float up immediately.
It took more than a dozen minutes to descend to a depth of 1300 meters, but it was easier to float up. With four claws holding on to a gray cliff, and swinging its tail a few times, it managed to float to the shallow area in just three minutes. Looking at the'red spider' that was floating up in front of him, Chen Fan felt it was better to tear it up.
As the electric eel moved forward, a sudden sound of a diesel engine came from a distance away, and a huge trawl was coming near.
"Shit!" With a curse, Chen Fan quickly controlled the electric eel and snuck away.
......
Returning to the cave in the reef, Chen Fan moved the electromagnetism to the pituitary gland and then locked it in a pituitary fold that acted abnormally in the deep sea. Although he did not know what type of protein it released, it did not prevent Chen Fan from stimulating it. It's not biological scientist's academic research. Why did he require this knowledge?
Observing the details of the pituitary image in his mind that he would have seen under an electron microscope, Chen Fan took a breath and turned the voltage down to 13. 5 volts swiftly to stimulate the area he just planned.
Squeaking...
The unfamiliar pituitary tissue was injected with 15 milliliters of a stimulant, and the release rate of hormones was shocking. For the first time, Chen Fan didn't dare to spend too much time on it, so he stopped after more than ten minutes.
In a few minutes, the electric eel's stomach was like a large, powerful meat grinder that was just fed but still felt hungry.
Energy conversion is a constant process. It would only improve if it was supplied with nutrients, thus strong hunger is a good thing, which proved that the electric eel needed a lot of nutrition to improve itself. Now the 60-meter long and more than 50 ton electric eel, had to eat more than two tons for a meal, which is definitely a lingering nightmare for the fish nearby.
After leaving the cave he looked for a large group of sardines in a distance, Chen Fan immediately controlled the electric eel's attack on a scale of 100 meters.
Boom!
After a circle of bluish-white light, the originally active group of fish were immediately motionless as though attacked by the gaze of Medusa.
The electric eel returned to the unfinished cave after finishing a hearty meal.
.........
The next morning, Chen Fan rubbed his eyes, woke up from his dream, looked at the time, realized it was still early, and then, leaning on the pillow, turned on the TV to kill time.
When changing to Zhongyun TV station, Chen Fan's jaw dropped wide open when he watched the news on TV. He was shocked and speechless for a while.
"Excuse me, gentlemen, how did you capture this gigantic monster?" With a sweet voice, the host appealed to the two young men who looked alike.
"At that time my elder brother and I were sea trawling when suddenly the wooden boat shook. I thought it hit the rocks. My brother was observant, he patted my shoulder, and then pointed to the nets. I then realized that I captured a big guy!"
A young man with an overall covered with oil stain, pointed at the'red hair spider' on the beach that was surrounded by men wearing various uniforms and said, "We were so frightened, if it wasn't that we saw the monster was motionless, we would have cut the net down and fled to save our lives..."
"Thank you, Sir. Let's talk to professor Liu from the Institute of Oceanography in Zhongyun city and ask him what he had found out." The host turned the microphone over to the man who was in his 40s.
"According to our observations of color and shape, it should be a variation of a type of crustacean, the Decapods, and the spider crab." The white coat man was loud and clear."The 20-meter-long red spider crab is presumably a mutant from the ocean's nuclear explosion. We know, after the explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, rats that were exposed to radiation from the area had grown to the size of pigs. So this spider crab..."
"A silly, this crab is originally white, okay?" Chen Fan said with contempt and then continued to stare at the screen.
This huge crab had only a certain impact on the city. People who live by the sea have long been immune to these things. They talk about them as anecdotes during leisure time. The two poor youths took advantage of the opportunity to show their faces. They got paid a great deal from all the newspapers to establish this news.
But Chen Fan, the culprit behind the incident, was still trying to stimulate the electric eel's pituitary, preparing for the next two days to test the electric eel by letting it go into the trench again.
